Yorkshire, home to wild scenery, ferocious gradients and occasional inclement weather. Hosts of the 2014 Tour de France Grand Depart, the Tour de Yorkshire and the 2019 World Championships arguably make Yorkshire the UK capital for road cycling.
From our base in the historic City of York and dependant on the duration of your stay you’ll get the opportunity to discover the Yorkshire Dales, the Yorkshire Wolds and the North York Moors with our guided cycle rides. From the gentle gradients of the Vale of York, the rolling Howardian Hills and Wolds to the sometimes brutal Dales and Moors you can experience it all. Coffee stops and lunches in Whitby, Malton, Easingwold, Boroughbridge, Otley and Masham are all possible and you’ll be able to visit Byland Abbey, Castle Howard, Whitby Abbey, Fountains Abbey and the White Horse at Kilburn too. Daily rides will be between 60miles/100km and 105miles/170km to suit all abilities riding through Thixendale and Millington, climbing Lythe Bank, Saltburn Bank and Trapping Hill with plenty of time to see places of interest along the way.
